- Leads the day-to-day activities of the prefab team to fulfill orders from the Prefab Manager. Creates a smooth process for organizing and delivering ordered products. Provides accurate and quality products.
- As directed, opens and closes the warehouse and yard each morning/evening, brings out any vehicles from the fenced yard, opens/closes gates, and properly handles the display of our American flag, secures the forklift.
- Conduct Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) checks to maintain and improve standards for the construction of prefabricated products.
- Provides coaching to team members to develop their full potential. Develops and promotes employees to fill positions within the company. Supports employee growth and development through communication, training, meetings, and mentoring.
- Assists Supervisor in collaborating with design team on layouts and designs, and facilitates the hand-off from design to shop for production.
- Communicates with the Supervisor and Warehouse Lead to ship completed prefab items to the jobsites.
- Recommend continuous process improvement strategies whenever possible.
- Promote Kearney as one whole team. Resolve issues through active listening and problem solving.
- Promote safety practices and procedures. Communicates safety issues and concerns and documents on employee safety violations. Ensure team members are wearing proper PPE and always following safe practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical construction, prefabrication preferred.
- Ability to read and use 3D/4D/5D modeling and BIM.
- Strong sense of urgency with resolving production problems thereby meeting user expectations.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and people skills, motivated team player to work collaboratively as part of a team to meet deadlines.
