We are seeking a dynamic Strategy Director (SD) to lead PPC strategy for high-profile clients. You will manage a multi-million-pound account for a well-known household brand and oversee a portfolio of smaller clients, bringing innovative thinking and market insights to drive performance.
Reporting to the Head of PPC, you will inspire and guide the PPC activation team, acting as a role model and strategic leader within the agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead strategic PPC initiatives for major clients, ensuring strategy creation and performance targets are met or exceeded.
- Drive client maturity through technology, data, and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with partners like Google and Microsoft, ensuring recommendations are tailored and effective.
- Use business data to inform PPC strategies and present performance insights to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain high client satisfaction through strong relationships and strategic solutions.
- Ensure best-in-class activation, continuous improvement, and innovation across your portfolio.
- Oversee account health and team deliverables, including roadmaps and performance metrics.
- Gather industry insights to shape Croud's strategic perspective and recommendations.
Business Development & Marketing
- Lead pitch strategies for new business opportunities.
- Contribute to case studies and market positioning.
- Drive growth through cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
- Collaborate on evolving Croud's PPC offerings and proprietary technology.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Manage team workload, effectiveness, and development.
- Address team pain points and ensure quality assurance.
- Meet revenue, margin, and utilization targets.
- Forecast effectively and manage financial processes.
- Deliver high-quality MI and support career development within the team.
Client Specific
- Experience in lead generation within regulated industries, especially financial services, is preferred.
- Foster collaboration across client and internal teams, ensuring cohesive technical roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of measurement, bidding techniques, and data integration.
- Strong technical knowledge in bidding automation and audience strategies.
- Ability to forecast and communicate effectively with C-Suite stakeholders.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven ability to grow senior client relationships and lead strategic PPC initiatives.
- Experience in building and motivating high-performance PPC teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect channel initiatives.
- In-depth PPC knowledge and familiarity with wider paid media channels.
- Excellent stakeholder management and project management skills.
