Woodcraft has an immediate opening for a Power Tool Sales Manager. The Power Tool Sales Manager is responsible for power tool sales activities in all channels in support of the overall sales growth strategy. This sales professional will be focused on bringing innovative products to market, creating tools to communicate complex messages at point of purchase, and establishing long-term business strategies based on consumer needs and market demands. This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Parkersburg, WV corporate office. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years retail, business and/or marketing experience.
- Superior computer skills, including at least MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and the ability to pick up new programs easily.

- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with adjustment to different types of audiences.
- Strong business acumen and strong attention to detail.
- Savvy ability to negotiate with multiple vendors and manage complex programs.
- Analytical, prioritization and multiple project management skills. Must be able to determine solutions, make sound judgments and carry out actions in an effective manner.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, with responsibility and accountability for final results.
- Time management skills, including setting priorities, follow through, attention to detail, and working well under pressure.
- Experience writing product copy and designing advertising and promotional material.
- Woodworking experience/background preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement product and promotional plans that strategically drive category growth while maintaining profitability.
- Continuously evaluate product mix to ensure Woodcraft maintains a high level of customer satisfaction, market penetration and a competitive advantage.
- Responsible for sales planning, budgeting and growth of the power tool categories across all sales channels.
- Negotiate national programs with Woodcraft's suppliers to ensure that we secure the lowest price and most favorable terms utilizing incentives like but not limited to, payment terms, rebates, co-op, allowance, returns and freight discounts.
- Target power tool placement for the monthly sales flyer per scheduled, including, but not limited to:
Product selection.
Cost negotiations with suppliers.
Product sale pricing.
Placement and proofreading of items within the flier.
Development of store signage as it relates to power tools.
Sales reporting and analyzation of results.
- Evaluate industry and competitive trends; define and act on new opportunities.
- Communication of programs, promotions and complex messaging through multiple departments, franchise owners and store managers.
