Power Technician Job Category: Engineering and Technical Support Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: Join CACI's technical team in Albuquerque, NM as an HVAC/Generator Technician. This exciting role offers the chance to work on diverse projects across the continental United States, applying your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, generators, motors, UPS, and electrical systems Assist in engineering and design of HVAC/Generator systems
Train staff on system repairs, operations, and troubleshooting
Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions
Create detailed installation and maintenance manuals
Coordinate procurement of components from commercial and DOD vendors
Collaborate with engineering staff on projects Qualifications: Required B.A./B.S plus 5 years of experience or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree in commercial/industrial HVAC/Generator experience
Proficiency in using electrical test equipment
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to read schematics and work plans
Experience with control systems
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
EPA universal refrigeration license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
Working knowledge of single and three-phase power circuits
Willingness to travel within the continental United States
Active Secret Security Clearance, willing to obtain TS/SCI Desired Military mobile power generation/HVAC experience in a tactical environment
Active TS/SCI clearance
New Mexico Journeyman refrigeration license

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
