We are seeking an experienced Power Platform and SharePoint Development Team Lead to oversee the development, implementation, and management of Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint solutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of managing workloads, developing strategic roadmaps, and leading a team of Power Platform and SharePoint developers. This role will drive digital transformation initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Power Platform and SharePoint developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Assign and prioritize workloads, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development for team members.
Strategic Roadmap Development:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents) and SharePoint solutions, aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, data visualization, and collaboration enhancements using Power Platform and SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define short- and long-term goals for platform adoption and optimization.
Solution Development and Implementation:
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of custom Power Platform applications and SharePoint solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with organizational governance policies and industry standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft 365 technologies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with business units to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and senior management, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Governance and Best Practices:
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks for Power Platform and SharePoint environments, including security, access controls, and data management.
  • Promote best practices in development, documentation, and lifecycle management of applications and workflows.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint updates, recommending new features and capabilities to enhance business processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing solutions and proposing optimizations or replacements as needed.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in developing and managing SharePoint and/or Power Platform solutions.
  • 3+ years in a leadership or lead role, managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Proven experience in creating strategic roadmaps and managing enterprise-level deployments.
Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and Microsoft 365 integration.
  • Proficiency in related technologies such as Azure, Microsoft Teams, and Dataverse.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript) and development frameworks.
Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications (preferred):
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer or Administrator
