Power Platform Innovator with Security Clearance

Power Platform Innovator Location: Randolph AFB-San Antonio, TX - 2 days/week onsite Teksouth seeks a Power Platform Innovator to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced business intelligence and data visualization solutions. This role operates at the intersection of business, analytics, and design, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to create high-quality Power BI solutions and optimize data architecture. The ideal candidate is experienced in Power BI, understands business requirements, and can develop innovative solutions that drive decision-making. Must have government finance or air force finance experience. Responsibilities:
• Design and develop Power BI solutions for government and commercial clients.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Research, prototype, and implement creative solutions for complex business challenges.
• Ensure quality, completeness, and compliance of project deliverables with regulations and standards.
• Stay informed on best practices, emerging technologies, and new approaches in data analytics.
• Contribute to iterative Power Platform product development, incorporating feedback and improvements.
• Guide best practices, ensuring sustainable and scalable analytic solutions.
• Develop and maintain solution documentation and Power BI dashboards.
• Conduct training sessions on Teksouth-developed products as needed. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Active Secret security clearance - required.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query and formula/database languages (e.g., DAX, PQFL, VBA, R).
• Strong knowledge of Power BI Pro and Premium Service components (e.g., Workspaces, Semantic Models, Dataflows).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in DoD Financial Management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification within 90 days of employment. Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of R and Power Apps is a plus
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.
