Job Title: Power Platform Developer
Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)

Hours of Work: 37 Per week
Salary: £55,000 - £58,000
What You'll be doing:
The Power Platform Developer role is a specialist role within the Information Management & Technology Department responsible for developing end to end digital solutions for the Team Portsmouth Infrastructure enterprise comprising MOD and KBS Maritime teams in Power Platform.
Development will mostly be Model Driven Apps, Power Automate Flows, Project for the Web, Dataverse tables and Canvas Apps. The role will also require knowledge of data flows and power query in order to integrate with other digital tools within the business and Power BI skills to support the Data analytics team where required.
You'll also be required to deliver thought through solutions for end users not used to digital tools, provide an end-to-end service from engaging teams to find live problems to the roll-out and training of finished solutions and sustain solutions which incrementally build out our common data model for naval base infrastructure management
You'll Have:
Developed business solutions to delivery teams using Power Platform, created and maintained canvas and model driven applications and experience of developing JavaScript web resources and other advanced model driven app customisations. Additionally, experience in FM / Asset Management / Industrial Engineering environments is desirable, along with a strong appreciation for User Experience Design.
About you:
Ideally, you'll hold A software, IT, computer science or systems engineering degree, a PL-400 Power Platform Developer Associate Certificate and be able to apply for security clearance. With a strategi mindset, you'll be able to champion the need for continuous improvement and transition towards a data driven, risk-based decision culture. You'll also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate the ability to confidence in own ability.
