About Us The
Information Technology Division's (ITD) primary purpose is to plan, develop, implement, and support the technology systems that meet the operational needs of DST. The ITD Web and Financial Services team is responsible for a portfolio of heterogeneous applications composed of web and other cloud-based systems servicing all divisions.
As a
Power Platform Developer, this position will analyze various architectural components of DST Business systems to enhance capabilities and upgrade architecture, or ancillary components as needed. This position will provide implementation planning and support to the DST Business divisions in onboarding new projects and maintaining existing systems and applications. This position is responsible for designing technical specifications and custom interfacing solutions for both on-premises (Imaging) and Cloud (Power Platform) environments for all the functional requirements provided by the business groups. Will lead large-scale systems development and/or systems integration projects adhering to proven project management methodologies sanctioned by the Project Management Institute.
Job Duties - Analyze various architectural components of the systems supported by Web and financial services group to enhance capabilities and upgrade architecture or ancillary components as needed.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) to support DST Business divisions.
- Manage and implement new Power Platform solutions in the Azure cloud environment.
- Manage large-scale systems development and/or systems integration projects adhering to proven project management methodologies.
- Provide technical expertise to identify and direct issue resolution with external application platforms (Digital Commons, Google Analytics, Sharepoint).
- Serve as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level developers, fostering best practices in Power Platform development and guiding them through troubleshooting and optimization technique.
- Develop and document processes with the team to facilitate ongoing support of existing systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / CompetenciesQualified applicants must possess, and application must clearly reflect work experience that demonstrates the following:- Experience in managing and implementing Microsoft Power Platform or emerging web technology.
- Experience with coordinating with other business operations, and business users to maintain the supported applications.
- Experience in designing large-scale systems development and/or systems integration projects.
- Experience in developing comprehensive technical specifications and custom interfacing solutions.
Management Preference - Advanced experience using Microsoft and/or cloud computing technologies.
- Experience mentoring Junior Developers.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution.
OR
Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of experience in business application consulting or development.

High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience in business application consulting or development; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
