Development of new and/or modification of existing control systems and instrumentation systems for U.S. navy ships
Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of existing control systems to include electrical and mechanical interfaces
Interpret system requirements and design control and sensor circuitry for control systems Requirements Bachelor's level degree in Electrical engineering or Computer science from an accredited college or university
2 years of professional experience in designing and working with software and/or PLC based control systems and instrumentation systems
2 years professional experience in reading and modifying electrical schematics and diagrams Preferred 2 years' experience in the use and application of test equipment and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting of and setup of control systems and PLC based control system hardware and software (Rockwell/Allen Bradley)
Knowledge in Linux systems
