Tiber Creek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Analyst for a contingent on-site position on our team. The ideal candidate must possess proven experience in developing interactive visual reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. Familiarity with data cleaning and transformation techniques using Power Query, as well as proficiency in using DAX and M code within Power BI and Power Query, is essential. The candidate must also have experience integrating Power BI reports into operational platforms and applications. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role. Education: BA/BS or nine (9) years' work experience.
Experience: Seven (7) years related work experience.
Certifications: DoDD 8570.01 within first 6 months (required). Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate (desired).
Clearance: DoD Secret clearance.

• Data Gathering: Extract and report updates to personnel records from IPERMS on a weekly basis. Collect and manage integrated personnel and pay data from IPPS-A weekly. Retrieve performance evaluations and reporting data from the Evaluation Reporting System weekly. Obtain data on meal entitlements and usage from the Meal Entitlement Registry weekly. Collect career progression, sponsorship, and training data from the Army Career Tracker weekly. Access retention and reenlistment data from Retain weekly. Retrieve data related to transition assistance programs from TAP 21 weekly. Obtain and/or extract payroll and financial data from DJMS weekly. Access data from the Army Organization Server (AOS) MTOE/TDA and Force Management System (FMSWeb) MTOE/TDA weekly.
• Verifying Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure data ingest is accurate, consistent, and complete on a daily basis. Conduct weekly audits of data sets to scan for anomalous data and remediate identified errors.
• Creating Power BI Reports: Design and develop visual reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI in accordance with established design criteria from project proposals and statements of work weekly. Implement data models and visualizations to support established HR metric reporting criteria weekly.
• Maintaining Power BI Reports: Assume maintenance of all G1 Power BI reports by updating data sources and ensuring the established refresh schedule is ingesting the most recent authoritative data weekly. Troubleshoot and resolve emergent issues with Power BI reports resulting from data source errors or an inability of the Power BI service to conduct a scheduled refresh daily. Conduct a weekly review of all G1 reports to ensure they are navigable and filterable at echelon in accordance with prescribed design standards. These reports include: Personnel Readiness Report (PRR), Personnel Summary Report (PERSTAT), and Financial Entitlements Report (Finance). Monitor key personnel metrics and provide prescribed data-driven insights weekly.
• Soldier Readiness Management Analysis: Analyze personnel accountability and strength reporting in accordance with prescribed criteria weekly. Analyze turnover rates (gains vs losses) and identify trends and patterns in accordance with prescribed criteria weekly. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to reduce turnover weekly. Conduct crew platform manning and analysis in accordance with prescribed baseline criteria weekly. Conduct finance and entitlement analysis in accordance with prescribed criteria (Finance Power BI reports) weekly. Analyze Soldier Readiness metrics and solutions to satisfy prescribed Unit Status Reporting (USR) requirements weekly.
• Soldier Readiness Processing Analysis: Evaluate Soldier readiness data in accordance with prescribed criteria and provide visualization of key performance indicators weekly. Analyze required division ReARMM reporting to visualize and identify trends and patterns weekly.
• Retention Metrics Analysis: Analyze retention data to determine the effectiveness of strategies and sources weekly. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve recruitment and retention processes weekly. Provide recommendations to transition assistance programs (TAP) to improve reporting and notifications weekly.
• Diversity and Inclusion Metrics Analyses: Measure diversity within the organization in accordance with prescribed standards weekly. Provide recommendations to improve and track diversity and inclusion progress over time weekly.
• Conduct Soldier Satisfaction Surveys: Design and administer Soldier satisfaction surveys in accordance with prescribed criteria weekly. Aggregate and analyze survey results to provide recommendations and actionable insights to improve morale weekly.
• Perform Awards, Compensation, and Benefits Analysis: Conduct Military Awards and Personnel Actions analysis in accordance with prescribed standards weekly. Analyze and compare compensation packages (i.e., retention incentives, bonuses, passes, awards) weekly. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on Awards, Personnel Actions, and compensation packages weekly.
• Provide Data Security and Compliance: Comply with all applicable data protection regulations daily. Implement prescribed data security measures to protect sensitive information daily.
• Organizational Training and Support: Conduct training for HR staff on using data analysis tools quarterly. Troubleshoot and immediately remediate emergent issues with dashboards that fail to refresh or display on COP of the Rock daily.
• Continuing Education and Improvement: Stay current with industry standards and practices related to data analysis and provide relevant updates during training sessions quarterly. Collaborate with the staff to develop and document best practices to improve data processes and reporting monthly. Minimum Qualifiers:
• Current DoD Secret clearance.
• Education and experience requirements.
• Candidates must be local to Fort Stewart, GA.
