JD:

10-12 years of experience in managing Postgres databases.
5 years of experience should be on the cloud version preferably AWS experience in managing databases as RDS services in AWS, security policy, user authentication, IAM, and database administration in AWS.
Install, configure, patch, Migrate, Maintain, and upgrade Open-source Database platforms Databases like PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS
Working Knowledge of EDB, Oracle, SQL Server and AWS Day to Day operation on S3 EC2 etc
Experience in Postgres SQL performance improvement, indexing/other approaches
Experience with message queuing, full-text indexing, and other high-performance data concepts
Experience in AWS environment management and knowledge of different tools for the same
Experience in Postgres SQL migration approach, estimating it, and technically managing it
Hands-on Experience in Jira, GitHub, Ansible & Terraform.
AWS RDS hands-on experience
Capacity planning, performance assessment of AWS RDSs
Strong Postgres/SQL Server DB administration experience in production environments
Configuration and support of complex RDS Databases in AWS environment, Configuring and managing high availability, resiliency solutions leveraging Aurora Read replicas & Global Database
Experience in managing multiple RDS, database versions on large systems
Practical experience in monitoring
Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
Experience in using Performance Insights, RDS KPI design and management.
Working knowledge of Lambda, Python
