Position Overview
SDBRI has an opportunity immediately available for a Postdoctoral Fellow. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be a member of a small team of researchers in the laboratory of Dr. Joanna Davies. The main goals of the project are:

  1. to identify immune biomarkers of disease progression in patients with type 1 diabetes;
  2. to identify the critical molecular and cellular pathways that lead to type 1 diabetes onset and progression.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must have a Ph.D. and at least two years of relevant Postdoctoral experience. Candidates must also possess a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of cellular and molecular immunology and type 1 diabetes research. Prior experience with Flow Cytometry, scRNAseq, molecular biology, CRISPR, and sterile tissue culture technique would be a benefit. Basic knowledge of Python and R would be preferred.


Salary Range: $66,600 - $73,000
