About the Agency:
The Virginia Department of Military Affairs State Team provides professional and responsive state support functions to the Adjutant General of Virginia, the Virginia National Guard, the Virginia Air Guard, and the Virginia Defense Force in order to ensure their ability to support and defend the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Purpose of Position:
To provide assistance to Virginia Information Management (VAIM)/G6 in the management of Mail Operations. The incumbent of this position will be required to travel throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of postal operations;
Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing;
Knowledge of postage and shipping regulations and procedures;
Working skill in the operation of postal equipment such as postal scales and postage meters;
Ability to keep postal mailing and stock records, prepare necessary reports, lift bags and bulk packages, and stand for extended periods of time;
Must be willing and able to travel throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia;
Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record required;
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance;
Ability to stand, walk, and carry packages up to 70 pounds.
Additional Considerations
Active Secret Security Clearance preferred.

Must obtain a Secret Security Clearance within 12 months of hire.
Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
