We are looking for a POS IT Analyst to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and configuration for Aloha POS systems across multiple retail or restaurant locations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, and Vendors to implement and maintain POS solutions.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for system issues and proactively implement fixes or upgrades.
- Manage software and hardware installations, updates, and integrations with payment systems.
- Document system processes, support resolutions, and user guides for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with PCI standards and data security policies.
- Train store-level personnel on POS features and procedures.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support or POS Analyst role, with direct experience supporting Aloha POS systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Familiarity with retail or restaurant operations; industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of POS networks, databases, and back-office integrations.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to support occasional after-hours upgrades or emergencies.
