ManTech seeks motivated, career and customer oriented Portfolio Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position, averaging 2-3 days a week on-site. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading the business strategy, growth, P&L, personnel and delivery of services. The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of service delivery for a group of programs that includes leading leaders. The Portfolio Manager will develop and execute a business strategy for the assigned market leveraging all of ManTech to achieve superior mission and business outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Single point of accountability for all things related to the portfolio
Execute strong consultative approaches to enhancing the value that ManTech provides to our clients
Successfully grow through new business and on-contract growth
Build strong, well qualified sales pipeline
Manage P&L for book of business
Effectively leverage supporting functions, including business development, to achieve goals
Travel, as needed, for delivery, team building and business development
Identify, develop, and implement efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the Government and ManTech. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
15+ years of supply chain operations experience, including 10 years operating in a high risk environment
10+ years experience briefing, senior, high-level, government officials Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing P&Ls of at least $10M annually
Experience meeting with Senior Leadership and reviewing risks on a quarterly basis Preferred Qualifications: A Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications
Formal consultative training
Ability to balance and manage multiple competing priorities
Self- driven and highly motivated to exceed goals. Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Program requires candidate to undergo a polygraph Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
Occasional movement within office spaces for communication and accessing resources
Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as computers, printers, etc.
