Your Role

Portfolio Manager Applications Consultant 2 (full-time; multiple positions)

Portfolio Manager Applications Consultant 2 needed in Chicago, IL, and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to manage and architect multiple projects in the IT field. Involved in business development by working with senior management in responding to proposals for current and potential customers. Mentor junior team members. Conduct interviews for lateral recruitments to fill business needs. Participate in scrum, sprint planning, PI planning, retrospective, review, governance, and team building activities. Direct requirements analysis and apply domain driven design for decomposition into microservices. Collaborate to produce integration architecture and solution architecture and modify as needed. Define and implement Junit test cases. Oversee implementation of microservices. Define OpenAPI Specification and AsyncAPI Specification. Must have a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business, Technology, or related field, plus fifteen (15) years of IT experience.

Your Profile

Must have three (3) years of project, technical or functional management experience. Must have one (1) year of IT work experience with any one of the following skill sets:

  1. OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and Microservices;
  2. Springboot, Java, and Hibernate; OR
  3. Oracle, Agile, and SQL.
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept three (3) years of post-secondary study in any field, plus three (3) years of IT experience. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required as needed based on Capgemini business needs. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed. EOE.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
