This is a unique opportunity to become a leader on the White Oak Portfolio Management Team.

You will help lead the efforts related to the management and servicing of existing private debt and equity investments. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will bring success in this role as you work with C-Suite management teams and other White Oak investment professionals to monitor, manage, evaluate performance, review valuations, facilitate reporting, and report to investor relations related to ongoing portfolio investments.

In this role, you will perform company and industry analysis, build and maintain financial and monitoring models, facilitate investment valuations, and prepare internal and external presentations for senior-level review. In addition, you will have the chance to participate in due diligence, data room preparation, and management, document drafting and review, transactional and operational support, among other credit management activities.

Summary Job Descriptions:

The candidate will become an integral member of the Portfolio Management Team's efforts related to the management and servicing of existing private debt and equity investments and investments with affiliated entities. This position requires interaction with other White Oak investment professionals to monitor, manage, evaluate performance, review valuations, facilitate reporting, and report to investor relations related to ongoing portfolio investments.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in direct lending, private credit management, or asset management experience is preferred though a strong accounting and finance background will suffice for the exceptional candidate.
  • Must have strong understanding of accounting, credit fundamentals, valuation, financial statements and legal documents.
  • Exceptional Excel/modeling/forecasting skills are essential, as is advance knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be a detail-oriented team player and be able to methodically complete work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and strong work ethic are vital. Must maintain a service-oriented personality, robust multitasking abilities, be stress resistant, and possess an investigative mind.
  • Strong writing skills are essential as well as fluency in English.
  • Strong academic background with a demonstrated record of achievement. Preference for undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. CPA or CFA charter holder/candidate is a plus.
