Interim VP of Finance
Our client, a global professional services firm with a focus on safety, risk management, and engineering consulting, is seeking an Interim Vice President of Finance. This high-impact leadership role will report directly to the CFO and oversee both FP&A and Corporate Accounting functions. The successful candidate will drive strategic financial planning, business case development, and executive-level reporting. This is a 100% remote position, though occasional travel to the East Coast may be required.
Responsibilities- Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the organization
- Act as a key advisor to executive leadership, delivering actionable financial insights
- Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting, board materials, and lender presentations
- Manage corporate accounting operations, audits, and compliance with US GAAP
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles
- Demonstrated success in FP&A, strategic planning, and process optimization
- Experience in a private equity-backed or growth-oriented environment preferred
Compensation:
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $120 - $150 per hour. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
