Overview:


An independently owned New York-based real estate investment management firm is seeking a highly motivated Portfolio Management Analyst to support its growing multifamily investment portfolios. The firm was established in 1969 and currently has $9.3 billion of institutional quality real estate assets under management. The Analyst will be working on a range of multifamily investment strategies and will be engaged in all aspects of the real estate investment process, including analyzing and executing new investment opportunities; formulating new investment strategies and marketing materials; ongoing financial modeling and liquidity management; and investor reporting.


This role will be apart of the acquisitions and transactions team.


Responsibilities


What You'll Do:


• Develop customized investor and prospective investor memorandums and presentations
• Monitor property-level performance through variance analysis and market research


• Maintain and analyze fund-level financial models in order to manage liquidity needs


• Execute quarterly and annual reporting


• Generate investment summaries, strategic plans and other documentation associated with fund operations


• Support portfolio management in annual budget and asset planning process


• Assist with preparation for advisory committee meetings, board meetings and annual meetings

with clients and consultants


Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of real estate investment/development, investment banking, or finance experience
  • Fundamental knowledge and understanding of multifamily transactions and management
  • Experience underwriting ground-up multifamily development opportunities with
  • waterfall structures as well as core/core-plus and value-add investment opportunities
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build detailed
  • financial models from scratch
  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Effective business writing and communication skills
  • Experience in Acquisitions and Transactions


• Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Bachelor's Degree
