Title: Point of Sale (POS) IT Support Specialist The position you are interviewing for is a POS Expert position with tourist attraction experience. The client is looking for someone that has Retail experience, especially with Epson printer, Cabling, Wire Management. Also, someone that is familiar with the concept of POS devices and that can take on direction and handle shifting priorities. A Self Starter that is eager to take on projects.
Hours Per Week: 40 Must be able to work Weekends Responsibilities: - POS Support on various hardware and software
- POS Troubleshooting and Repair
- Provide Windows, software, and hardware support, onsite in a corporate environment
- Diagnose and repair printers
- Setup, configure, and test hardware and software components;
- Provide telephone, remote, and on-site support for clients in order to provide quick resolution to problems;
- Maintain technical knowledge related to our suite of hardware and software product lines including POS Systems
- Prioritize and complete work in a group and independently with minimal supervision
- Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Provide 'White Glove' support for senior leadership and VIPs
- Maintain a professional demeanor around celebrity personnel
- Guide and mentor team members advanced technical level procedures
- Experience using ticketing systems (Viva ticketing systems a plus)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements: - +2 years corporate deskside support or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Ability to solve both hardware and software issues pertaining to POS Systems with little or no supervision
- Capable of walking long distances
- Walk, bend, stand for prolong periods of time, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrate high level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
- Maintain neat and professional work area and appearance in compliance with site policies
- Ability to pass standard panel drug screening and background check
- Adhere to assigned shift schedule
- Ability to maintain composure while handle challenging, dynamic, rapid-response user support
- Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365 suite
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, various Windows operating systems, and networking;
- Good written and oral skills;
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while in the office or in the field;
- Experience in configuration, installation, training and support of hardware or software products.
