Title: PNC Programmer

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Position: Fulltime

Primary skills: BOM , ERP

Secondary skills: MRP (Material Requirements Planning) ,Supply chain

Job Responsibilities:

Supplier and Material Management:

Source materials from approved suppliers, ensuring the best value and timely delivery to support production and customer requirements.

Negotiate with suppliers to establish long-term agreements and obtain competitive pricing.

Purchase Order Management:

Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring they meet minimum stocking levels and contain accurate, detailed information.

Obtain necessary approvals for purchase orders and communicate successful awards to suppliers.

Material and Requirements Evaluation:

Evaluate material requirements through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems, contracts, engineering drawings, and purchase requests.

Read and interpret engineering drawings to relay necessary specifications to suppliers, ensuring clarity in purchase orders.

Coordination and Problem Resolution:

Coordinate with suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments to resolve any delivery or technical issues.

Handle repairs and warranties, ensuring quality and timely resolutions.

ERP and BOM Management:

Enter Bill of Materials (BOM) parts into an ERP system (Visual ERP), which helps in tracking inventory and managing production planning.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus on supply chain, engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Up to 5 years in a similar role involving materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain management.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and communication.

Experience with ERP systems, as these are crucial for tracking materials and managing inventory.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and effective communication skills for coordination across departments and with suppliers.
