Job Title: PM Technician

Location: Winston Salem, 8080 Northpoint Blvd, Winston Salem, NC 27106

Shift: 7am-3pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $26.11/hr

Job Summary: The Preventative Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of production equipment and plant systems through routine and preventative maintenance procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including production equipment and plant utilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, control circuits, and equipment, including three-phase motors and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Calibrate and maintain pneumatic systems and other mechanical components to ensure peak performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and scheduled procedures.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to equipment and processes.
  • Adhere to safety standards, including NFPA 70E, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
  • Solid understanding of relay logic, PLCs, and pneumatic systems.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E standards and ability to apply them in the workplace.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
