PM Project Governance Job Description: Overview: This role involves
driving multiple strategic initiatives ("missions"). You'll be given objectives along with available tools and are expected to proactively design and implement solutions. You'll create documentation to support and socialize your approach and leverage existing technologies to deliver solutions that minimize ongoing manual effort.
While strong project management skills are important to stay organized and report progress across parallel efforts, this is not a traditional PM role. You'll be the hands-on problem solver-designing and executing the solutions yourself.
Key Responsibilities: • Strong data analysis and dashboard/data visualization skills
• Ability to manage and report on multiple efforts in parallel
• Collaborate with suppliers/stakeholders to implement cross-functional processes
• Design and document detailed, end-to-end processes with visualizations
• Recommend and implement automation/self-service solutions
• Critical thinking and solution design mindset
- Dashboard & Reporting:
- Design dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Create business continuity run books and toolkits for seamless service delivery and incident reporting.
- Maintain a CRM-like contact management system/database with relevant reporting capabilities.
- Access & Data Management:
- Optimize ServiceNow filters and reporting for bulk user access approvals.
- Consolidate and cleanse data from disparate sources using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups, Macros) and Power BI.
- Project Management:
- Utilize Agile principles and tools such as Jira and Miro for project tracking.
- Develop timelines, roadmaps, and Gantt charts to ensure milestone deliverables.
- Design and execute communication strategies with outbound messaging and editorial calendars.
- Asset Tracking & Documentation:
- Maintain structured asset tracking to monitor delivery progress.
- Document processes and establish new ways of working.
- Report and escalate issues to leadership in a timely manner.
- Collaboration & Influence:
- Hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables.
- Liaise with cross-functional team members and partners at all organizational levels.
- Direct work with or without formal authority.
Basic Qualifications: - Technical Skills:
- Proficient in data analysis and report creation using Excel, ServiceNow, Jira, Power BI, and Visio.
- Experience consolidating data from diverse sources and file types (Excel, Python preferred).
- Project Management Expertise:
- Structured and accountable communication style.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), BA activities, and Jira story creation.
- Ability to configure ServiceNow catalog items and workflows.
- Communication & Documentation:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in process documentation and workflow diagrams (Visio or similar).
- Capable of designing effective presentations for updates and stakeholder buy-in.

Preferred Qualifications: - Agile-focused with experience running scrum activities for product development.
- Familiarity with MyJira for roadmap and sprint management.
- Skilled in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
Required Education: - BA or equivalent experience.
