We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join a well-established mechanical team. The role will involve working across multiple commercial and industrial sites, supporting installation works, attending call-outs, and carrying out reactive maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified plumbing and heating engineer with a strong background in commercial or industrial environments, capable of delivering high-quality work with attention to detail and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out fault finding, remedial repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across a range of mechanical systems.
Perform plumbing and heating installations in accordance with current regulations and best practices.
Complete domestic gas installations ensuring full compliance with legislation.
Accurately process and complete all relevant documentation for works carried out.
Conduct inspections and testing on new and existing installations; complete and submit appropriate test certificates.
Maintain clear and accurate records using both electronic and paper-based systems, including labour and material usage.
Support apprentice development through mentoring, as required.
Attend training sessions to remain up to date with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Cooperate with other trades when needed to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications & Experience
NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (including domestic gas)
Commercial or industrial plumbing/heating experience
Full, clean UK driving licence
Own hand tools and battery-operated tools
Desirable
Commercial gas qualifications
Experience with fault finding
iPAF and PASMA certifications
