Position Title: Players Club Supervisor

Position Summary/General Description:

A Players Club Supervisor assists in shaping and managing ongoing marketing programs, special events, and campaigns aimed at promoting a consistent and positive image.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Issue and print players club cards to new members as well as issue player coupons to players according to policy and guidelines.
  • Coordinate and train Player Club personnel.
  • Manage point-redemption method. Club certificates, redemptions, and club vouchers according to policies and guidelines.
  • Communicate and implement promotional programs at operational levels with cooperation of Marketing Director/Manager/Players Club Manager and Promotions Supervisor.
  • Assist in the player point structure.
  • Issue redemptions for both cash back and for casino outlets in the form of a voucher according to policies and guidelines.
  • Oversee direct mail reissue, direct mail return, direct mail bad address/ address updates.
  • Track special events and promotions. Ensure the proper security and issuance of prizes, cash and other promotional items.
  • Coordinate information reports and/or custom managerial reporting requests by Marketing Director / Players Club Manager / Marketing Manager/Promotions Supervisor.
  • Review and manage point-redemption process.
  • Budget control, review, and reporting. Maintain an accurate inventory of all merchandise, club and casino collateral to ensure items are in stock at all times.
  • Assist with promotional events. Must have a clear understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
  • Maintain knowledge of current special events, promotions, other venues (e.g. gift shop, restaurants, etc.).
  • Work closely with other departments.
  • Encourage players to keep coming back again and again.
  • Make PA announcements.
  • Write reports, correspondence or other materials.
  • Provide leadership and direction toward marketing team.
  • Evaluate promotional events with assistance of Director of Marketing/Marketing Manager/Players Club Manager/Promotions Supervisor.
  • Communicate and implement programs with Director of Marketing/Manager.
  • Generate sales and incentive reports.
  • Communicate system problems or concerns regarding program management with IT Dept.
  • Maintain knowledge, ensure that employees adhere to departmental procedures, and assist with revisions to departmental procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge and ensure that employees adhere to internal controls, as well as Pueblo of Laguna Gaming Control Board/Tribal Gaming Regulatory Authority rules and regulations as they relate to Sales and Marketing.
  • Manages the activities and performance of Players Club Leads & Players Club Representatives.
  • Deal with the difficult circumstances and unreasonable demands in a constructive and professional manner, balancing the interests of customers, vendors, employees and company.
  • Carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Exercise tact, courtesy, and initiative in handling routine problems.
  • Work odd and unusual hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Count money and calculate figures and amounts.
  • Seek out information to solve problems and make decisions confidently and accurately.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information (e.g. guest/player information, financial data, casino player data, policies and marketing plans).
  • Actively participate in Supervisory Development Leadership Series (SDLS) yearly.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED Certification required.
  • 0-1 year relevant experience & demonstrated ability to lead.
  • Prior marketing, guest or casino experience preferred.
Licensing & Certification:
  • None
Computer Equipment, Software, Machinery:
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficient with basic office equipment (e.g., computer, photocopying and faxing).
  • Experience with Kronos (Timekeeper Software), and Paramount (Purchasing Software).
  • Proficient with OASIS or AS/400 computer networks and Super PlayMate.
  • Calculator, cash register and other general office equipment.
Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Requires employee to hear, stand, see, talk, walk and repetitively use hands the majority of the time.
  • Requires employee to occasionally bend, crouch/stoop, sit, and turn/twist.
  • Requires employee to occasionally push/pull, carry, lift, and slide/transfer 1-50 lbs.
Essential Mental Demands:
  • Requires the ability to solve problems, organize, plan, make decisions, interpret data, reading and writing the majority of the time.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Recommend hiring, promoting, compensating and terminating employees.
  • Training, discipline, scheduling, apportioning work among others, directing, apprising productivity, measuring performance and planning budgets.
Work Environment (inside/outside):
  • The job is performed indoors in a Casino environment with frequent exposure smoke (e.g., cigarette smoke).
Other Requirements:
  • Obtain and maintain a gaming license through the Pueblo of Laguna's Gaming Control Board.
  • Must comply with LDC and the Federal Government Bank Secrecy Act by acquiring and/or maintaining a Title 31 Certification.
  • Must pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening.
