Reconstructive Microsurgery Opportunity in Grand Rapids, MI Position Details: - Recruiting two new physicians to develop a Reconstructive Microsurgery section- Provide specialized care for patients needing breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, limb salvage, lymphedema care, and extended oncologic reconstruction- Ideal candidates should have fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery and be comfortable collaborating with fellowship-trained oncologic breast surgeons- Expected to also provide general plastic surgical care services- Participate in resident education and help facilitate resident learning in microsurgical competence- Academic appointment through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, with the potential to advance as Residency Associate Program Director - J1, H1 visa support Compensation Package: - Malpractice insurance, health, dental, disability, and life insurance- Paid time off for vacation, parental leave, illness, and CME- Relocation allowance Qualifications: - Medical Degree (MD or DO)- Board-eligible or Board-certified in Plastic Surgery- Fellowship trained in Microsurgery- Eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery Community Details - Grand Rapids, MI: Grand Rapids is Michigans second-largest city and a thriving hub of cultural and economic activity.
