MC Technical Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Plant Operator / Operations Technician, to work on a days based Monday to Friday basis on a renewable energy process plant. Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy industry, seeking a Plant Operator to join their team. This role will involve.
As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to the site manager, conduct day to day operations on an AD plant
- Running the plant via a DCS / SCADA system (control room)
- Visual (First line) plant & equipment fault finding
- Driving a telehandler to load fuel into hopper
- Keeping the site safe & clean
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Operations experience in waste, process, power, marine or related sectors
- Or perhaps engineering qualifications but keen to learn to apply in an operational role
- Ability to work Monday to Friday Days shift pattern (overnight call out in rota)
- Forklift or telehandler licence preferred
- Good H&S understanding
