Job Summary:
Assists the Facilities Director with managerial duties required to operate and maintain OSU-TULSA with somemaintenance assistance at other OSU facilities. Supervise day-to-day operations of Building Engineers to include time record keeping, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, etc. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, motors and auxiliaries to supply light, heat, refrigeration, ventilation, air conditioning and mechanical and electrical power for all buildings on campus. Direct contact with various vendors to maintain and repair HVAC equipment, fire alarm equipment and boiler/chiller equipment. Direct contact with staff, faculty, and students to provide constant comfortable temperatures within work area.

• High School/GED
• Nine years of plant operations and maintenance.
• Three years supervisory experience.
• City of Tulsa, First Class Stationary Engineer Unlimited License.
• Availability to work overtime as needed
Skills, Proficiencies and Knowledge:
• Proficient in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, chillers, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiar with local, state, and federal codes and regulations relevant to the Tulsa campus.
• Knowledgeable about OSHA regulations and safety protocols concerning the boiler room facility.
• Skilled in methods and practices for maintaining and cleaning boilers.
• Experienced with various types of light fixtures, lamp posts, bulbs, ballasts, wattages, and volts.
• Possess basic plumbing knowledge.
• Capable of interpreting technical information and comprehending engineering terminology.
• Able to accurately record and maintain daily engineering logs.
• Responsible for administering a preventative maintenance program for all buildings and supporting blueprints and building plans.
• Competent in operating HVAC equipment, chillers, and understanding blueprints and building plans.
• Efficient in managing multiple technical tasks simultaneously and organizing daily workload.
