Our client is a leading provider in the construction materials industry, operating a network of quarries, asphalt plants, material recycling facilities, and road paving services.

The client is seeking a proactive and experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at one of their production facilities. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of the site including safety, production, environmental compliance, quality, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background and a passion for developing teams and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Safety

  • Champion our core values: Safety, Integrity, and Quality
  • Lead by example to achieve zero incidents; actively engage in and promote safety programs
  • Foster a culture of accountability and team development

Operations Management

  • Oversee site planning, production scheduling, mine development, and material quality
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to align production with market demands
  • Manage daily reporting, personnel assignments, equipment needs, and site logistics

Financial & Performance Oversight

  • Analyze site financials; identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
  • Propose and implement capital improvements and profit-enhancing initiatives
  • Maintain strong cost controls and improve operational metrics like OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

Regulatory & Community Engagement

  • Serve as liaison for regulatory inspections and compliance efforts
  • Lead community engagement initiatives, including facility tours and outreach activities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in plant or site management
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in aggregate, asphalt, or materials processing operations
