We are seeking an experienced HR Plant Manager to oversee HR operations for a manufacturing plant in West Chicago. This role will be instrumental in fostering a strong workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance within a highly technical, blue-collar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all HR functions within the plant, serving as a strategic partner to leadership.
- Oversee employee relations, engagement, retention, and compliance, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage and develop a team of four HR professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
- Act as a liaison between the plant and corporate HR teams to align local initiatives with company objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven HR leadership experience within manufacturing, blue-collar, or food service industries.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate a matrixed organization.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- A professional who is approachable, humble, and relatable, while maintaining a polished corporate presence.
