Plant Fitter

Complete Site Contracts Ltd are looking for Plant & Workshop Fitter for an immediate start.

Job Description

• To be responsible for the maintenance of Large Plant. Carry out tasks to a safe and professional standard.Manage time, tasks and prioritise as requested by the workshop manager.

Workshop

• Must have knowledge of how to repair plant machinery (small and large).
  • Includes, but not limited to, dumpers, excavators, scarabs & rollers
  • Repair items in the most cost-effective way.
  • Ensure plant items are stored safely and correctly.
    • Includes undertaking stock checks

• Valid driving license required (plant/forklift training preferred)
  • Occasional site visits to site may be required for urgent repairs.
  • May be required to move plant to and from Workshop in a safe manner.
• Liaise with other departments (Transport, Plant, Workshop & Buying Departments) when required.

• Damage reports for inbound plant.
• Clerical
  • Internal and external phone calls.
  • Ordering parts.
  • Keeping records.
