Launch your engineering career in the energy sector with real impact. ROI is hiring an Engineering Intern or Entry-Level Engineer to support asset integrity, performance, and reliability programs at power generation stations across the U.S.
You'll gain hands-on experience with critical infrastructure, work alongside seasoned operations and maintenance professionals, and contribute to strategic planning that directly affects reliability and safety.
What You'll Do:
- Support station-wide compliance with OPM-017: Asset Integrity and Strategic Maintenance (AISM) procedures.
- Track and report AISM Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure station success.
- Develop site-specific critical equipment lists and overhaul checklists.
- Perform Condition Assessments on equipment and gather operational history using internal tools (APM-360, PdM programs) and external sources.
- Maintain and update Equipment Risk Registers tied to 5-Year Planning goals.
- Collaborate with station stakeholders to build and refine PowerSam Forecast Risk Projects.
- Align projects with outage schedules in partnership with Outage Management Teams.
- Ensure project scopes include detailed work and accurate cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Familiarity with asset performance tools (APM-360, PdM) a plus.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite at station facilities.
