GA Foods is seeking a Plant Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. This role supports the plant by providing a wide range of administrative and customer service functions across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will also assist with special projects as needed, playing a key role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional internal support.
Plant Customer Service Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilites:
- Handle all customer service functions for:
- In-state senior centers
- Regional plant customers
- Military customers via military vendor
- Daily duties include:
- Email correspondence
- Coordinate in-state senior center meal deliveries
- Research freight quotes obtaining the best quote and method
- Book carriers for outgoing orders
- Data entry of all sales orders, including product transfers as needed
- Research, confirm, and submit credit requests for shortages, damages, etc.
- Advise customers of shortages, date changes, etc. affecting orders
- Create meal templates for in-state senior centers
- Prepare estimated meal counts for production team/schedule
- Prepare weekly meal sheets from customer-supplied monthly PO
- Keep sales reps up to date on correspondence/orders
- Maintain all digital folders
- Work closely with the Production Planner on orders before entering
Plant Customer Service Coordinator Preferred Skills:
- Strong personal computer skills (MS Office, Spreadsheet, Word, Other Programs)
- Good communication, organization, customer service, and administrative skills
- Data entry
- Self-starter and ability to work without supervision
- Willingness to see the job through and ensure all tasks are complete
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office-based with prolonged periods working on a computer
