Plant Accountant

This company has a long track record of success in the manufacturing industry, and they're looking for a dedicated and skilled Plant Accountant to help manage and streamline their accounting and inventory processes.
This role is ideal for someone with strong manufacturing accounting experience, particularly in managing large inventories and using multiple software systems to track financial and inventory data.

What You'll Do
Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage inventory processes for products.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory data and cost allocations in various systems.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and support inventory audits.
Accounting:
- Perform plant-specific financial accounting duties including reporting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure proper accounting treatment of inventory and production costs.
- Generate reports and financial statements related to manufacturing and inventory performance.
Who We're Looking For
- Manufacturing accounting experience: 3-5 years working in accounting.
- Systems expertise: Comfortable using accounting systems like Sage Timberline and inventory management software like Steel 2000 and Limble.
- Detail-oriented and analytical: You have a keen eye for detail and excel at managing complex financial data.
- Excel proficiency: Advanced Excel skills for report generation, data analysis, and problem-solving.
- Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure accurate reporting and smooth operations.
