Plant Accountant

What You'll Do

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee and manage inventory processes for products.
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory data and cost allocations in various systems.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and support inventory audits.

Accounting:

  • Perform plant-specific financial accounting duties including reporting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure proper accounting treatment of inventory and production costs.
  • Generate reports and financial statements related to manufacturing and inventory performance.

Who We're Looking For

  • Manufacturing accounting experience: 3-5 years working in accounting.
  • Systems expertise: Comfortable using accounting systems like Sage Timberline and inventory management software like Steel 2000 and Limble.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical: You have a keen eye for detail and excel at managing complex financial data.
  • Excel proficiency: Advanced Excel skills for report generation, data analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure accurate reporting and smooth operations.
