Job Description Corcoran Sunshine is seeking a Planning & Design Intern to join our Planning & Design department. The intern will balance regularly assigned work, special projects and on-site field work. Candidates should have a strong interest in real estate as well as marketing, architecture, design, research and New York City. This position will be full-time at our NYC office, 40 hours per week for up to 12 weeks.
Duties outlined for the internship include, but are not limited to:
- Assist the Planning & Design Department with creating analytical graphics and diagrams, including preparing reports using visual aids, and reviewing existing deliverables for updates
- Visit development sites (in-person and online) to collect competitive research data, analyze strength & weakness of competitors, and document progress updates
- Provide market research in key development markets
- Compile property profiles of pipeline and competitive developments
- Collaborate across departments to assist with company events / initiatives across the portfolio
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated, resourceful and accountable
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in design programs, Adobe (eg. InDesign, Illustrator), Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
