Workface Planner - Civil & Structural

Work Location: Cameron, Louisiana

The Workface Planner, Civil & Structural, is responsible for overseeing the planning & advanced work packaging processes and functions for one of major capital projects, with a particular focus on civil & structural construction activities.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed planning of civil grading & trenching, concrete foundation, paving, structural steel and fireproofing activities.
• Performing quantity takeoffs and monitoring/reporting progress.
• Identifying and mitigating constraints at the work front.
• Development, implementation, maintenance, and oversight of planning & work packaging processes and procedures.
• Development and quantification of construction performance targets.
• Development and maintenance of internal company plans & schedules.
• Contribute to reviews of Contractor execution plans & schedules.
• Provide oversight and leadership to Contractor Advanced Work Packaging teams.
• Audit construction completions processes and participate in driving Inspection & Test Record documentation completion.
• Set up and maintain reporting and dashboard templates for consistent communication.
• Present and effectively communicate plan & schedule information internally and externally.
• Develop and maintain graphical summary depictions of execution plan.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but field work experience could substitute.
• 5 years of relevant mechanical construction and pipe installation experience in major Oil & Gas engineering and construction projects.
• Experience with Advanced Work Packaging processes.
• Proficient in NavisWorks or other 3D modeling and work packaging software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL or similar relational database management systems preferred.
