Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Placement Agent in Private Equity. The Placement Agent will be responsible for identifying and securing institutional investors for private equity funds and independent sponsors. A core focus will be relationships with family offices and RIAs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, distributing and selling private market offerings, managing investor relationships, coordinating meetings and presentations, and supporting fund-raising efforts. The role requires a deep understanding of the private equity and venture capital landscape and the ability to effectively communicate investment opportunities to potential investors.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Experience in Private Equity, Fund Placement, and Investor Relations
- Strong market research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop effective marketing materials
- Proven ability to build and maintain investor relationships
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
- Active Series 7 or 79 or 82 and Series 63
