IT/Data Architect Clearance: TS/SCI Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document data requirements.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of data architecture documentation, including data flow diagrams.
Support communication between business and technical teams on data-related topics, clarifying requirements and tracking progress.
Assist in reviewing data models and integration designs for adherence to established data architecture standards.
Support the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and metadata repositories, including researching definitions, validating data elements, and documenting business rules.
Participate in data governance initiatives, tracking action items and supporting the implementation of data quality, security, and compliance policies.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture, sharing relevant findings with the team.
Provide support for the migration and configuration of data systems to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle).
Assist in implementing and monitoring basic cloud security policies and access controls for data, under the guidance of security SMEs.
Stay informed about data privacy regulations and support compliance efforts.
Research and document emerging data technologies, tools, and industry trends (databases, AI/ML, and cloud platforms) to inform team decisions.
Provide technical support during the BCAC process, assisting with requirements gathering, vendor selection, and solution implementation.
Support the application of BCAC principles, IGCE development, and best practices in government IT acquisition. Required Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance required.
Master's in Computer Science or relevant degree from an ABET accredited program
CompTIA Security + CE, CISSP, other security certifications
10 years' experience providing services to general/flag officer ranks and/or SES levels within the DOD, other government agencies, or industry corporate equivalents.
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience on large-scale Federal programs with hands-on experience with project management office processes and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Highly proficient with the Unified Modeling Language (UML), the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
Professionalism, tact, and experience working with senior DoD leadership.
Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting, provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly.
Ability to provide on-site support in the NCR, Monday through Friday.
Certified in one or more industry cloud certification (AWS SAP, AZ-305, VCIX NV, or OCI Architect Professional).
