The Piano Workshop at Chester has been providing private music lessons in the Morris County area to over 300 families. We have a solid standing in the community and going on 19 years.
Role Description
Looking for a part time piano teacher to teach students from 6 years old to adult. Most lessons begin after 2 or 3 pm. Available 1-3 afternoons per week and possibly Saturday mornings as well in the fall. The Piano Teacher will be responsible for providing piano lessons to students, teaching music theory, and fostering a love for music in students. Be super "awesome" with kids, able to communicate well with parents and must have transportation and live within 45 minutes of Chester New Jersey. There is NO public transportation available,
Qualifications
- Piano Playing skills and Piano Education
- Experience in Music Theory and Music Education
- Passion for teaching and fostering a love for music
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels
- Bachelor's degree in Music or related field is a plus
