Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job South of Tampa, Florida Seeking 2-3 Weeks per Month Starting in May 2025 + Ongoing
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility located near Tampa that needs Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens coverage starting May + ongoing until a permanent provider is identified and hired on. The facility anticipates an average need of 10-15 days of call coverage support each month and while they recruit for a permanent physician.

Dates of Coverage:
Orientation will be on the morning of your first shift
Thursday, May 1 at 8AM - Thursday, May 8 at 8AM
Monday, May 12 at 8AM - Friday, May 23 at 8AM
Tuesday, May 27 at 8AM - Sunday, June 1 at 8AM
+ Will need 10-15 days per month of ongoing coverage until a perm is hired
Assignment Details/Requirements : Active Florida license required
Current Board Certification required
BLS, ACLS, ABLS, PALS certifications required
100% 24-hour ED call coverage (no clinic / outpatient at this time)
Will be required to round, see new consults/follow-up consults and to cover emergent cases/scopes
No current staffed CT Surgeon at the facility; Local providers covering the call schedule + seeking a locums to assist with the remaining schedule
Open to locum to perm candidates, not required
Quick credentialing process; Facility also offers an abbreviated orientation/training to accommodate your schedule
Facility details: not a designated trauma center, Cerner EMR, 200+ bed facility
