A facility is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located inNorthern Missouri. The facility is seeking a General Surgeon capable of performing C-sections to provide call relief for a permanent surgeon. The position is for two weeks per month, starting in May and ongoing. The role is based at a 25-bed critical access hospital and includes covering both C-sections (approximately two per month) and emergent general surgeries (around two calls per week). Family Practitioners manage OB/Gyn care, with APP support available in the clinic but not in the OR. The hospital uses the Meditech EMR system, and the current staff includes one General Surgeon locum, one OB/Gyn locum, and one permanent General Surgeon.
