Full-Time Vascular Surgery Locums Job Eastern Florida Coast October Start
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a facility on the eastern Florida coast that is seeking full-time locum tenens coverage beginning the first week of October 2025 and ongoing. The facility will need coverage primarily in the hospital, however, requires candidates that are flexible and willing to work in the clinic/outpatient center as often as needed. Coverage need:
Seeking to fill a 4 weeks of coverage per month starting October 2025
Will be an ongoing assignment until a new replacement is hired (also open to considering locums for locums to perm)
Will work a majority of your time in the hospital, however, will need to be open to clinic/outpatient work as needed
CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS (firm):
- Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.)
- Must be able to provide up to date case logs
- Prefer as clean of a background possible
Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Florida license + current DEA required
Must be actively Board Certified and/or Truly Board Eligible
Bread & butter Vascular Surgery inpatient & outpatient coverage
While on call/in the hospital, will be required to see unattached ED patients + attached patients from the practice
Inpatient duties will include daily patient rounding, scheduled procedures, emergent procedures, new consults & follow up consults
Will have first assist Vascular Surgery APP support (APPs don't do rounding) in the hospital
Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center - has full trauma support staff
Patient volume will vary but between 5-8 PPD in the hospital
Facility detail: 490+ bed facility, designated level II trauma center, Athena EMR
