Seeking a Passionate and Experienced Vascular Surgeon for Locum Tenens Opportunity
We are searching for a skilled and dedicated Vascular Surgeon to join our team and provide locum tenens coverage for a physician on medical leave. This temporary position offers the flexibility of a scheduled start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and lasts for eight weeks, concluding on September 30th, 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive vascular surgery services to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 5-6 patients per shift.
- Participate in a scheduled call schedule, including daytime hospital calls (7 am - 7 pm) and providing surgical services as needed during call periods.
- Collaborate effectively with a supportive healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Epic electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified in Vascular Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the state of Georgia (GA) only.
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment is preferred.
- Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and communication abilities.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
