- A 220 bed community-based acute care hospital within an hour of Chicago near the southern shore of Lake Michigan, has an opportunity for a General Surgeon. This position is full scope, bread & butter general surgery.
Details of the position include:
- 2 daVinci XI robots
- Clinic attached to hospital
- Clinic/OR schedule flexible - average 2 days clinic/3 OR or combination thereof
- Clinic procedures include, but not limited to: Hemorrhoid banding, I & D, pilonidal cysts, lipoma removals
- Collaborative hospitalist and intensivist teams
- Opportunity for GI screening and diagnostic endoscopy
- Joining a group of 3-4 general surgeons
- Strong office support staff to maximize efficiency
- Robust employed primary care network referral base
