Job Summary:
The Physician Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process for physicians in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role collaborates closely with leadership to assess physician staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and provide insights on industry trends. The Physician Recruiter will strategically and creatively source physician candidates while building and maintaining strong relationships with leadership to ensure the successful execution of physician recruitment initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manages expectations for the full-cycle physician recruiting process; consistently communicating expectations, feedback, and status information to physician candidates, Physician Recruiting Committee, and other stakeholders throughout the selection process.
• Effectively communicates the company's physician value proposition, including the Physician Employment Agreement, job duties, compensation model, relationship with US Radiology and benefits to potential physician candidates.
• Partners with the CGB President/Vice President to create talent acquisition strategies for identifying qualified talent; screens, schedules, and conducts interviews to ensure their qualifications meet open positions.
• Actively engages with radiology residency and fellowship programs with universities and colleges throughout the country.
• Utilizes creative posting techniques to attract top physician talent.
• Builds and maintains a robust talent pipeline by exploring innovative sourcing methods, including social media, networking, and outreach efforts.
• Engages in career fairs, special recruiting events, and other advertising initiatives to expand physician candidate reach and visibility.
• Oversees all pre-employment requirements (e.g. background investigations including reference checks, drug testing, etc.) to ensure compliance and proper applicant tracking flow and records maintenance.
• Maintains and ensures accurate physician candidate documentation and follow-up.
• Utilizes analytical skills within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to generate various metrics and reports for leadership review, coordinates offer letters and Physician Employment Agreements.
• Proactively seeks knowledge of both radiology industry and functional specialty, researching market trends, best practices, legal developments, emerging trends, technological advancements, and benchmark comparisons.
• Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

• Skill in communicating effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of stakeholders

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of full-cycle, physician recruitment experience in a healthcare setting required
• Previous experience recruiting physicians at the residency/fellowship level with universities and colleges preferred
• Private equity and/or Merger & Acquisition a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Heavy lifting: up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without restrictions.
• Requires the use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, telephones, and copiers
• Requires computer-related activities for extended periods
• Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, write, and key
Travel Required (% of the time):
• Ability to travel up to 10% to 20% if needed
