Fairfax Radiological Consultants (FRC) is an independent, subspecialized radiology group located in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. We are looking for a fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist for our physician-owned independent practice that provides imaging services for a major Hospital system in Virginia and over twenty outpatient centers. FRC provides diagnostic imaging services to INOVA Fairfax Medical Campus (IFMC), a full-service 900+ bed tertiary care hospital with a Level I Trauma Center. The campus encompasses the 225+ bed Inova LJ Murphy Childrens Hospital, which has dedicated PICU/Pediatric Cardiac ICU, 100+ bed Level IV NICU, and dedicated Childrens ED.IFMC serves as a major clinical teaching center and clinical campus for UVA medical school, with several residency programs, including pediatrics. The Pediatric Radiology Section actively participates in several multi-disciplinary conferences and many other teaching opportunities.Candidates would join a team of four full-time fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists, all of whom are Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics and do nearly 100% pediatric work. Applicants must possess strong skills in all diagnostic fluoroscopic exams, ultrasound, pediatric body CT and MRI. Applicants may be either in their fourth year of Residency or at present a board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and CAQ/subspecialty certified in Pediatric Radiology.
