We are seeking a skilled General Diagnostic Radiologist for a locum tenens position at a hospital in California. This 120-day assignment begins on 08/04/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be proficient in interpreting CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray studies, with possible involvement in barium studies such as barium swallow, modified barium swallow, upper GI, and small bowel follow-through. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a high-volume setting, managing approximately 32 CT scans, 28 MRI scans, 220 X-rays, or 100 ultrasounds per day. The radiologist will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretations of diagnostic imaging studies, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Job Details: Location: California Facility Type: Hospital Start Date: 08/04/2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: General Diagnostic Radiologist Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities and Duties: Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray Perform and interpret barium studies as needed Provide timely and accurate radiology reports Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals Utilize Epic and HealthConnect electronic health record systems for documentation Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in a high-volume setting Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures Stay updated on the latest radiology techniques and technologies Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures Additional Information: Must be licensed to practice medicine in California Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology required Proficiency in Epic and HealthConnect EHR systems preferred Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with high daily imaging volumes Possibility of assignment extension Apply now to learn more.
