Adelphi is seeking Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)to provide evaluation support through student testing for schools in San Antonio, Texas.The ideal candidate should be licensed by Texas State Board to perform duties such as consultation, evaluation, and development of plans and be able to work with students over a wide range of ages and ability levels. Job Quick Facts: Ref :BD-628-01 Profession: Psychologist Specialty: Licensed specialist in School Psychology Location: San Antonio, Texas Facility Type: School Job Type: Contract Shift Schedule: As Per School Calendar (maximum of 40 hours per week) Start Date: August 01, 2024 Duration: 1 year Rate: $60/hr Requirements: Master's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university Licensed as a Specialist in School Psychology Experience working in a school setting Current license to practice in Texas as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) Experience providing psychological services to school-aged childrenResponsibilities: Develop individualized educational plans,conduct evaluations/eligibility per District and Federal Educational guidelines. Attend meetings with multi-disciplinary teams to discuss services and provide evaluation findings. Follow District standards for assessment/evaluation/eligibility and if eligible, develop individualized educational plans for students. Comply with evaluation timelines as per federal law. Select and administer appropriate diagnostic instruments and techniques and organize evaluation data into educational plans. Provide direct support and interventions to students, families and other school professionals. Prepare and submit reports of evaluation results to appropriate supervisor and administrator. Serve as a member of the Admission, Review and Dismissal Committee. Support school teams in conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA),implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP) and collect data. Provide mental health services and/or counseling to students in one-on-one and small group settings. Provide staff development on academic assessment, intervention, progress monitoring, behavioral assessment, classroom management, positive behavioral support, and data analysis. Complete evaluations, documentation and submit prior to billing. Work as needed (maximum of 40 hours per week) and provide their own transportation. Other duties as assigned by administration.
