We are seeking a skilled Psychologist for a locum tenens opportunity in a correctional facility in Arizona. This 52-day assignment, starting on 06/02/2025, offers a flexible schedule with options for 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts, running from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The psychologist will be responsible for crisis intervention, managing acute psychotic cases, and overseeing mental health programs within the facility. Duties include conducting mental health screenings, evaluations, sick call visits, chronic care visits, and rounds in all units. The role involves maintaining clinical responsibility for mental health programs and collaborating with psychiatrists for further assessments when needed. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated psychologist to deliver comprehensive mental health care in a correctional setting, utilizing the TechCare system.
