Psychiatrist Locum Tenens to Permanent Job in the California Bay Area Details/Requirements: Need is for a full-time board certified child psychiatrist (required) for adolescent residential treatment. Will cover two programs, one for adolescent girls, the other for adolescent boys. About 20 hours a week at each program. ADC currently is 12 for the girls program and 20 for the boys program, but it can vary. ALOS 30-60 days for the girls program, and 45 days for the boys program. Client will allow all tele health, if necessary to get a candidate, but they prefer a hybrid of at least one day a week onsite. For the one day per week onsite, they can spend half a day at one program and half a day at the other, if they d like. Client uses a HIPAA compliant version of Zoom for tele health. Hours: 8A-5P, Monday through Friday. No formal call, meaning the doctor will never get called back in to see a patient after scheduled hours or on weekends, and the client tries to avoid calling the doctor after hours or on weekends but sometimes they still have to call the doctor and the doctor will be paid at the regular hourly rate for their time. Initial evaluations need to be done within 24 hours of admission to the program. Onsite full-time psych nursing staff. The girls program is an 18-bed residential treatment program for adolescent girls with mental health as their primary diagnosis, but they currently only have 12 beds filled/ADC. The boys program is a 28-bed adolescent boys dual diagnosis residential treatment program, but they currently only have 20 beds filled/ADC.
